By car

Harrow District Masonic Council (HDMC) is located in the centre of Northwick Circle in Kenton, Harrow.


Directions from M25 Orbital East - about 20 minutes (depending on traffic):

  • From M25 junction 23, take the A1081 exit to A1(M)/Hatfield/Barnet/A1/London (NW).  At the roundabout, take the exit onto the A1 ramp to London (N & C). Merge onto A1/Barnet Bypass Rd.
  • Follow directions as per A1(M) below for rest of your journey.

Directions from the North via A1(M) - about 20 minutes (depending on traffic):

  • From A1(M) junction 1 take the exit to London (N & C). Merge onto A1/Barnet Bypass Rd.  Go through 1 roundabout.
  • At Northway Circus, take the 2nd exit onto A5109/Selvage Ln. Continue to follow A5109.
  • At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A5109/Deansbrook Rd.
  • At the traffic lights, continue straight onto Camrose Ave.  Continue to follow road for 0.9 miles.
  • At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Charlton Rd.
  • Turn right at traffic lights onto A4006/Kenton Rd.
  • Take 2nd left onto Woodcock Hill.
  • Take the 3rd right onto Dovedale Ave.
  • Turn right at the end of the road (onto Northwick Circle).  The entrance to HDMC is on your left.

Directions from the North via M1 - about 15 minutes (depending on traffic):

  • From M1 junction 4 exit onto A41/Edgware Way toward Edgware/Harrow.
  • At the roundabout for A410, take the 2nd exit onto A410/Spur Rd. Continue to follow A410 for 2.7s mile, going through one roundabout.
  • At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A5109/Deansbrook Rd.
  • At the traffic lights, continue straight onto Camrose Ave.  Continue to follow road for 0.9 miles.
  • At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Charlton Rd.
  • Turn right at traffic lights onto A4006/Kenton Rd.
  • Take 2nd left onto Woodcock Hill.
  • Take the 3rd right onto Dovedale Ave.
  • Turn right at the end of the road (onto Northwick Circle).  The entrance to HDMC is on your left.

Directions from the West (M4 or M25 Orbital West) - about 30 minutes (depending on traffic):

  • For M25: At M25 junction 15, exit onto M4 towards London (W & C).
  • At M4 junction 3, take the A312 exit towards Harrow/Hayes/Hounslow. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A312/The Pkwy heading towards Harrow/Southall/Hayes.  Continue to follow A312.  Go through 5 roundabouts.
  • After 5.4 miles, take the right fork onto A312/Northolt Rd.  Go through one roundabout.
  • After 1.1 miles, turn left onto A312/Lower Rd.  Continue to follow A312.
  • At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A404/Lowlands Rd.  Continue to follow A404.
  • At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Kenton Rd.  Continue to follow road for 0.7 miles.
  • Turn right onto Upton Gardens.
  • Turn left at the end of the road (onto Northwick Circle).  The entrance to HDMC is on your right.

Directions from Central London - about 1 hour (depending on traffic):

  • From Bank, head west on Poultry and continue on to Cheapside and then A40.  Continue on for 0.4 miles, going through one roundabout.
  • Turn right onto A5200/Gray's Inn Rd.  Continue onto A501/Euston Road (bear left) and onto A40/Marylebone Road (2 miles total).
  • Stay in the left lane and take the exit ramp.  Turn right onto A5/Edgeware Rd.  Continue to follow A5/Edgeware Rd for 5.6 miles.
  • Turn left onto A4006/Kingsbury Rd.  Continue on for 2.7 miles, going through one roundabout.
  • Turn left onto Woodcock Hill.
  • Take the 3rd right onto Dovedale Ave.
  • Turn right at the end of the road (onto Northwick Circle).  The entrance to HDMC is on your left.

Parking

HDMC has ample parking available on-site and we ask you to observe the site speed limit of 10mph.  There is a speed ramp on the entrance road.

Parking is free of charge for all centre users (including visitors and guests).  Vehicles must not be left on HDMC property overnight without permission from HDMC staff.  HDMC does have a wheel-clamping license and rigorously enforces its wheel-clamping policy for unauthorised vehicles.


Disabled parking

There is ample dedicated disabled parking spaces available to permit holders. Vehicles must bear a valid Blue Badge and time recorder.

Please note:

  • Disabled parking is available both at the front of the building and the rear of the building.
  • HDMC is a fully accessible building but ramp access to the building is only available at the rear.  If you need to use the ramp access, to avoid unneccesary delays please contact HDMC and Fortitude Lodge ahead of your visit.
  • The rear car park is usually protected by a height barrier.  If you are using vehicle taller than a standard car or small van and wish to use the rear car park, please ensure that HDMC and Fortitude Lodge are aware of this so that the barrier can be opened before you arrive.

Buses

Bus routes 114, 223, H9, H19 and 183 stop on Kenton Rd (Kenton High Street), and route 223 also stops on Woodcock Hill.

Low floor, wheelchair accessible buses run on all these routes.

Tube and rail links

Kenton on the London Underground Bakerloo Line and London Overground (Euston) Line, five minutes walk away. Northwick Park Tube station on the Metropolitan Line is about a seven minute walk away.
